johnzena on "WP eMember Form Builder Addon Different Form for Different Membership Levels"
I see that there's no way to create different forms for different levels. Upon registration I though I'd make it easier on the subscribers that they can register all their details. Does the Form Builder Addon allow this?
acb323 on "eMember - Registration/Join Us Page Based on Membership Level"
Hello,
1. I have two types of members for my site, Free - for general public, and Paid - for directory listing advertisers.
I'd like to have separate Join and Registration pages for each group as follows:
General Public - site.com/register
Paid - site.com/paid/register
2. I'd like to re-direct expired members to separate registration pages as well.
3. Is there a setting that allows the member to have the email as their username automatically?
4. Is there a way to customize the registration page based on the type of member?
Thanks!
lisajosh19 on "Autoresponder restarts upon membership level expiration"
Hi team,
I recently did a test run for a 30-day Membership Level wired to a GetResponse autoresponder sequence, with signup via an eMember registration form. All went perfectly (T&T rocks!).
I then created two levels just like it, but because these were to be paid memberships, I created two WP-estore products for signing up.
The purchase test runs went exactly as expected. However this time, on the day that the levels expired in eMember as planned, the GetResponse autoresponders restarted from the top. ??? Ouch.
I had not touched anything related to these levels, products, or members, and there is no way to get onto these autoresponders except through the eStore product. Thus, I gather this restart was triggered by communication from one of the plugins.
It's most likely an incorrect setting on my part, but I'm not sure where. Would you please point me to some places to start looking? All input welcome, thanks in advance!
PS - I presumed that because the level expiration and autoresponder restart occurred on the same day, it stems from eMember, but if this post actually belongs in eStore, please excuse me and feel free to move this over there.
karencheah on "Adding members to different mailchimp groups"
Hi, I'm trying to setup WP eMember such that whenever a member registers, they are added into the Mailchimp list, to a particular group, according to the membership level.
Here's what I've done in the setup according to https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/wp-emember-and-mailchimp-integration-236
Under Autoresponder Settings tab - checked 'Use Mailchimp Autoresponder'. Put the name of the list 'PWL Members' and filled in the API Key.
For each membership level, I've filled the "List name | Group Name | Group Value" according to the group that they should belong to in the Mailchimp list, e.g.
PWL Members | Level | Basic
I've tested the member registration process and the member gets added to the PWL Members mailing list after confirming. However, the group is not picked up. Have I missed any part in the setup?

hvidigaljr on "eMember and Sensei - Restrict access to every lesson page"
Hi,
Nowadays visitor with only access to Course A can click to Course B and also click on Course B lessons. When in Course B lessons he can click on "Please click here to start taking this course". This message is default from Sensei (I guess), but the message should be the default from eMember explaining that his level of subscription do not allow that access.
It is very weird a message with a link asking him to start taking a course, and when clicking on a link, he is headed to the course page with the right message "This content is exclusive for members or your subscription level do not allow access".
Is there a possibility to make something more intuitive?
Maybe protecting the whole content after part of the url like mysite.com/lesson/... (all after "lesson" is protect). If lesson was a post category that was no mystery to do that, but as lesson is something from sensei, I have no idea how to do that.
Thanks

gruenish on "eMember - trying to remove user name field from registration form"
Hi!
I'd like to remove the field user name. I want to only require email address and password from members for registration and login.
I can login with email address already so there is not need for user name. Users will not talk to each other so there is no need for user name.
Please let me know how I can remove the user name field from registration form.
Thanks.
mnichols0 on "eMember - Need a login stays on the same page but only under circumstances"
My client wants a member who is not logged in to be able to click a button, go to a purchase page, log in there, and stay on the purchase page. The member can have any one (or more) of 28 membership levels. Currently we have all logins going to a members home page, and want to keep it that way.
I am aware that login redirection can be done globally or by membership level, and we use both capabilities. But in our case, we cannot predict the membership level of the person clicking the button, nor do we want them to go to the purchase page every time they log in - just when they click that button.
So, what we need is a login that redirects to a page not specified in the member level or the general settings.
I have searched the documentation and the forum and have not found anything that would do this.
I would be pleased if WP eMember could already do this (though embarrassed that I couldn't find it). However, if it doesn't, my client is prepared to pay for the necessary modifications since we would be using this feature frequently in the future.

Evnjax on "eMember - Server error when setting member to 'active and notify'"
Hi there
Hoping you can help with an issue that has just presented itself in the last couple of days. I have been running the eMember plugin without any issues for the last 4 months, however in the last few days, I am getting the following error message when setting a member's status to 'Set Status to Active and Notify':
500 Server Error
A misconfiguration on the server caused a hiccup. Check the server logs, fix the problem, then try again.
It doesn't seem to be a permanent error as after a few tries it seems to work. I have also noticed a Server Error when trying to search a member from the search bar in the member area. If you need URLs, please let me know.
I tried contacting my hosting company to see if the area was at their end, but they were of no help.
I'd really appreciate your help with this one!
Thanks again

HAJ on "WP eMember-Add Links (Social Media etc) to Member Profile & Sorting"
Hi,
I'm currently building a site and using WP-eMember to build the membership directory and had a couple of questions.
1. Is it possible to add links to Social Media, Email & Website Links to the individual members profile pages? Is this something that can be achieved using the Form Builder Addon Plugin?
2. At present it's possible to sort the members directory list via the Email Heading at the top of the page. Is it possible to use the "Company Name" to sort the directory as well or is this unavailable because it's not a core field value?
As ever, any help you can give would be very greatly appreciated
thank you
Helena
PS. I'm using the latest version of WP eMember & WordPress.
Ajay on "eMember - Tags, categories, posts and membership"
I have two things I'm trying to achieve:
1) I would like to add new membership levels all of the time so that I have an ongoing membership program forever. I would like all of level 1 and 2 content to be available to level 2 members, level 1, 2 & 3 content to be available to all level 3 members and so on. With the way the plugin works it looks like each time I want to add a new membership level I would need to go back to all of the protected content and and the new membership levels to the "Select the membership level that can access this content" section. Is there an easier way that this can work? I have protected content across different post types (Nutrition, Exercises etc.) Even using the Manage Access Levels seems like it would be a long winded process. Ideally it would be great to clone the last membership level or something like that.
2) I want to have recipes and exercise programs available to members. There is a way of displaying all recipes but I only want users to be able to see the ones they have access to with their membership level. Also there are tags associated with the different recipes. I want users to be able to click on the "chicken" tag and all the chicken recipes are displayed that they have access to. Currently it will display all of them but when they click on the item they wouldn't have the correct permission.
Even if there is no perfect solution to these problems and recommendations would be really helpful.
Thanks
johnpaulmains on "WP eMember - Password Reset Email Does not Include the Password"
My users that reset the password get an email confirming that their password has been changed, but the email does not contain the new password. How do I fix this? We do have to add users to WP so that another plugin can use the login info.
The user does get an email for Notice of Password change, but that isnt the email template that includes the password. Users do not get the email that includes the password.
I am using the latest version of Wordpress and eMember.
jupiterjim on ""Comments NOT Allowed" when using wp-eMember"
Hello,
Here's my blog page: http://jupiterjim.club/category/public/
when you enter a comment in the public blog (no need to be a member there) and leave a comment, you get a page that says: "Comments NOT Allowed"
I've disabled ALL plugins [except WP eMember] and even used the ugly WordPress 2015 default theme and still get that dreaded message.
When I disable WP eMember plugin, the nasty blog commenting message: "Comments NOT Allowed" goes away.
I just am using the latest version of WP eMember.
So I'm wondering if you could help me with this. I just started creating blog posts to promote my site and now after my first blog post, I'm stymied.
I know you guys are dedicated and will solve this problem and I appreciate your dedication to customer support that you are all known for!
Sincerely,
Jupiter Jim
